In addition to customer feedback, our commitment to quality is demonstrated by our ongoing investment in continuous improvement quality management systems and either meeting or exceeding our industry's most stringent standards for quality and food safety, including:

  • Source verification — producers must provide affidavits for meeting specific age, source, feeding and animal health practices
  • Verified natural programs — for our natural programs, producers must provide affidavits verifying their cattle have been given no antibiotics, added hormones or animal by-products
  • Non-Hormone Treated Cattle-approved  (NHTC) — all of our family farmers who raise NHTC cattle for shipment to the EU are audited and approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
  • All PM Beef product, regardless of destination, is USDA-inspected
  • Customer Service Quality Initiative — an internal, robust quality assurance system that measures and tracks every step in the production process, from our facility to SQFyour door
  • Safe Quality Food (SQF) 2000 Level 3 Certification — PM Beef is the first U.S. beef harvest facility to receive this certification for meeting the industry's most stringent standards for food safety and quality. This certification meets the criteria for the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)
